The most prominent Tech expert from Anambra, Linus Williams, turned down $10 million from a foreign investor for the BillPoint app that he created.
In a statement to reporters, the founder of the Blord Group highlighted that the offer was declined because their team believed the app will make considerably more money than the sum in a few years.
Keeping in mind that the BillPoint app was released in April 2023, exactly three days prior to this day, it is clear that since then, it has exploded in popularity. The app is the first of its type in Nigeria and was created to allow users to easily purchase inexpensive airtime, data, pay energy bills, and pay cable television bills. The app’s creator is confident that in the years to come, the app will increase its revenue.
