What is BLAQVYBE?
This title is a question that has been asked once too many in the space of five weeks now. WE ran our numbers and met up with the brain behind the term ‘BLAQVYBE‘ and relayed the exact question to them. Here is what they had to say;
BLAQVYBE is a brand that aims at promoting the black man’s History, Culture, Lifestyle, Afro-Sounds, and Excellence.
On Black History
It acknowledges and appreciates the black history and background of our legends, our heroes, and our ancestors. The people that made it possible for us to be here and all the stories told about our great history.
On Black Culture
It is a brand promoting the black man’s Culture and Lifestyle. Our way of life is one that the whole world seeks to emulate, its natural, it’s beautiful, it’s artistic, it’s sacred and it’s original. We are proud of the way we live and we want it not to depart from our community.
On Afro-Sounds
This is a genre of music that was created, preserved, and performed by a black man (Fela Kuti) and to date, AfroMusic is one of the most appreciated genres of music, played and danced all across the world and BLAQVYBE aims at pushing it beyond.
On Black Excellence
We are proud of our great achievements and successes in the black community and all around the world. we are smart, wise, knowledgeable, innovative, and relentless… with an undying hunger for success.
There’s a genuine uniqueness and pride in being black, and there’s also a bond and connection within the black community and that originated the name and the purpose of BLAQVYBE.
BLAQVYBE EXPERIENCE 2021
To launch this new movement, the BlaqVybe family brings this amazing new event called the BlaqVybe Experience;
BlaqVybe Experience is a music night festival where people get educated and exposed with lots of fun-filled experiences and also an avenue where different people get to interact, vibe, and connect with each other. It is an all-night experience, a true vibe, and energy!!!
Happening at the De GEO-GOLD Hotels & Suites on the 29th day of October 2021, the BlaqVybe Experience will be hosted by MC Apostle, Mr Kinga, and Cynthia from 7 pm till dawn.
Themed “VYBES, ALL NIGHT LONG!!!“, the music festival will feature talented black musical artists like Penthauze‘s Cheque, Jeriq, Ejim, Joybar, Rhatti, Gpenzy, Apete, Omax, and many more. There would also be dance performances by Global Steppers, Debby Dance, and Vybez Cartel. The night will have a high crescendo of Afro-sounds and music beyond our borders from Nigerian disk jockeys; DJ Grant, DJ Hotswagz, DJ KOKO, DJ Zeil, and DJ Val, with OG Zugos and Slymshady as hypemen.
